It seems like ages since I last opened up Betfair. Well, it has all all fairness. Around 8 days since I last entered a trade. I’ve been bloody busy, let me tell you. It’s all good though and I’m certainly not complaining. I think the break did me good. On the one hand, all I thought about was trading so my hunger built modestly. On the other hand, I had time to re-focus as I could feel myself over-trading and over-staking.
Only two trades this evening. I did look at two more whereby a goal appeared before I entered the markets. Not dissapointed by any means as it meant I was on the right track.
Trade 1 –
This, as the other were fairly simple trades. The first I noticed a great home record. I entered briefly 10 minutes previously but took a small loss of around £3. Then I could see the game heating up and the home team was awarded a free kick just outside the goal line. Was relatively risk free – lay O0.5 and if they miss the free kick, exit the trade. Was happy when the red ‘Suspended’ appeared as I was watching a delayed feed.
Another one going off the previous results although this held a bit more risk to it. I laid the draw around 1.24/.25 mark as the stats shown that each team didn’t finish 0-0 or on a draw in a huge chunk of their previous games so I entered for minimal risk (although more risk than the previous trade).
So two trades and two wins. The P&L is back and I’m nearly halfway to rewarding myself with a massage from the profits of my trading.
I won’t really get much chance to trade for the rest of the month but once September polity does one, I’ll be hitting the markets like you wouldn’t believe possible.
